It’s official!
On Saturday, August 8, we will open the doors to our newest location in downtown Petaluma at 20 Grey St Petaluma CA 94952 and begin what will surely be another epic chapter in Caz history
The opening of our first taproom at 5625 State Farm Drive was a momentous occasion and completely transformed how we were able to share our beers with the world.
Before that point, all we could do was sell kegs to local retailers, which was amazing for getting our name out there but did little to build a community.
Having our own taproom meant 100% control over the experience we wanted to create, and it has allowed us to connect people to our brand with unlimited creativity.
Since that first opening in 2019, and with the addition of our SOMO Village Brewpub, we've been incredibly fortunate to build a rock-solid community of friends and patrons. We're beyond excited to share this next space with everyone.
The Old Caz Backyard will offer an expansive indoor and outdoor gathering space featuring:
🍺 30+ taps of fresh Old Caz beer, along with local wine and cider.
🍽️ A full kitchen featuring top-tier eats, plus rotating food trucks.
🎶 A stage for local live music.
🛝 A thoughtfully designed Kids Zone.
Throughout the process of bringing these ideas to life, we've worked hard to make sure the space is unmistakably Old Caz and carries the same look, feel, and sense of community you've known since day one.
There’s so much more to share, so stay tuned—and don't forget to join us on August 8!
THE CAVALCADE
IS BACK!
The Old Caz Cavalcade is returning on August 8 for the Grand Opening of Old Caz Backyard!
Some of you may be wondering what the word Cavalcade means while others may vaguely remember hearing it in a Civil War documentary, but there is truly no word to better describe the legendary procession that is back with a little help from our friends @bikemonkey and @redpeloton.
The goal is simple: To honor the opening of our newest location, we will carry the original Old Caz tap handle and bestow it at its newest home among the wall of taps.
This Olympic torch style tradition began when we opened our SOMO Pub and it quickly became one of the most special, epic events we have ever organized.
Despite having no idea who would show up, over 300 of you joined us by bike, foot, rollerblade, and scooter to make the 3 mile trek from the original 5625 taproom to @somovillage.
It was an amazingly memorable experience and we are beyond excited to bring it back for the opening of our Petaluma location.
Due to the distance, we are recommending participants ride bikes and we will have ample safety controls in place.
If you can’t get access to a bike, fear not! Our SOMO Pub is quick walk to the Cotati SMART Train Station and the Petaluma Downtown SMART station is conveniently right next to the Backyard.
Participants will not only partake in an epic good time but will also:
-Sign the official Cavalcade banner.
-50% off first beer at the Backyard.
If you are interested in joining or simply want more info, please follow the link in bio to RSVP or email ct@oldcaz.com!
⏱️ When: 8/8/26, 10am.
📍Where: Depart from our SOMO Pub, finish at new location in downtown Petaluma.
🚲 Distance: 7.3 miles.
